I'm trying to fill the last few gaps in my collection, despite pressure on the domestic front - my wife has these bizarre ideas about a new kitchen being more important than Hawkwind CDs. No, I don't get it either.
Last week I got The 1999 Party - Fantastic! Brilliant version of The Watcher, plus Psychedelic Warlords, D Rider, Seven by Seven... the list goes on. I think I'll start on the Weird Tapes next.

It looks like I'm going to have to bid on Choose Your Masques (or pay amazon 50 odd quid). I have it on vinyl, but I need the CD.

The latest Space Ritual with DVD, etc. Prior to that (which doesn't count as it's a re-issue ) it was Take me to your leader. Or was it take me to your future?

It's even better if you were there!!!! That album has, IMHO, THE BEST EVER version of Levitation.... & the version of Psi power ain't bad either! I know this for a fact as I've just listened to them on my PC at work (currently playing Shot Down In the Night), how spooky is that?!
Cheers

First, the original question. I just new finally got Astounding Sounds and Quark on CD. Can't believe I've been listening to them on vinyl and tape for 20 odd years!
Now Fraser and The Pyramid Spell!!!! Don't waste your money spending 50 quid on Choose Your Masques without trying this first....
www.cd-services.com
Or even better, phone them on 01382776595. I can't promise anything as I haven't been there for a while, but last year they were selling the very CD, on Emergency Broadcast, with the bonus tracks for the princely sum of £10 (plus £1 postage).

In their defence ive bought stuff off them on and off for years, they are a good source of hawkwind rarities and they wont rip you off.

Yes, I've used them quite a few times and never had any problems. My problem just now is with another retailer who shall remain nameless (for the time being) who have been promising me that my new copy of the Space Ritual would be here on the 6th July. Nearly a month later and it still hasn't been dispatced yet. Am I too patient for my own good?
