They could be the '82 and '84 gigs above, or Stonehenge '84. That would constitute a new release rather than a re-issue with bonus material.

Or perhaps they will be part of the mentioned-at-the-begining-of-the-reissue-programme-but-never-mentioned-again career spanning box set. You would have thought they would have to put something in it that wasn't on their first two 3xCD compilations or has already been released as a bonus track. So far Atomhenge haven't let us down with quality or value.

This artifact could do with an Atomhenge octane boost.
It covers a wide spectrum of Hawkwind material.

I believe they have the rights to the content of that album.

errr... aren't Atomhenge dropping (some of) these tracks into their "proper context" as bonus material adjacent to related, contemporary material? The rest of the tracks come from the Weird Tapes. I'd rather they were there than in yet another, slightly different compilation. I'm all for a lush release of ALL the Weird Tapes.

Yeah, I doubt they'd just do a straight rerelease of this, after all it's been released over the years about a million times in this format already. I think they missed the boat with some of the material here by not placing it properly in context. The collective Anthology releases contained for example Master of the Universe from Lewisham in 1980, which should really have been included in the in Levitation release - they had more than enough disc space. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what if anything they do with all this material. They have a lot of bits and pieces leftover from many previous releases.

It would be lovely if they did a proper job of the Weird Tapes stuff, the voiceprint releases ended up being a bit of a hatchet job.

Well just had a email from Vicky at Atomhenge reply to mine asking about future plans, box sets, etc.

ah you will have to wait and see!! I don’t think we have 100% decided what to do with the titles we have yet to do or a box set .

Well that's certainly cleared that up for us then!

Zones CHECK
This Is Hawkwind, Do Not Panic --> ?
Out & Intake CHECK
Palace Springs CHECK
California Brainstorm CHECK

Warrior CHECK
Live Discs originally planned for the CYM box --> Edit: CODED LANGUAGES 2-CD
rest of Undisclosed Files Addendum --> ?
regular edition of Levitation --> ?
missing tracks from Church CD edition --> ?
perhaps some sort of Odds & Sods collection? --> ?

And hopefully
Roadhawks (once Warrior situation is sorted out, then licensing of the other tracks) --> ?
Live 1997 --> ?
and perhaps even deluxe reissues of the more recent V****pr**t releases NOT GONNA HAPPEN*

full career box (see above post) --> ?

??????????

I'm really happy that two years later I can cross off some of the more important stuff on that list - thanks Atomhenge! There're are still a few options left for the future though, so I'm curious to see what 2014 might bring us!

*I asked Vicky about the possibility of a "The V****pr**t Years" box, but they don't have the rights (which was to be expected, but since Atomhenge once announced a rerelease of SPACEBROCK I thought I would ask!)

Since the upcoming album gets a release from Cherry Red (though apparently not via the Esoteric Antenna label?!) I guess there's hope that Atomhenge are not quite done yet...!?

I'd love to cross off more stuff from that list above! :-)

Also, I wouldn't mind reissues of Blood Of The Earth and Onward albums with less compression and a less messy bonus tracks situation...I LOVE both these albums, but they suffer a bit from odd sequencing I'd say.

We got the Flicknife Years.
No material from the Emergency Broadcast System era though.
I've got some e.p.'s on cd.
Spirit of the Age (Solstice Remixes), Quark, Area S4 in example.
No Hawkwind in Your Area mentioned either.
