I also saw them at Hawkfest, and I haven't head-banged like that since the early eighties (where's my cut-off denim jacket?) . What a laugh, and what a great band. One of my mates who was there reckons he's gonna make us all T shirts saying ' I've been corrupted by Uncle Rotter '. |

haha! Yeah, I'd buy one of them! Speaking of which, I've just got hold of a Rotter tee off their myspace. It's a definate one to wear to work i think. "I work on an Alien Sex Farm" on the back. I got a bulletin through myspace saying they are BBC2's Scene Stealers next Saturday (13th) 12.30 dinnertime, two chavs who've turned into goths go watching one of their gigs or something. Bet they had shock of their lives! Delightfully excellent filthy music, which you don't get these days! I love how no topic is taboo. Anything goes. I'll hopefully catch them on one of the dates on their tour. |

Just got a bulletin through on myspace and Uncle Rotter are supporting Hawkwind at Newcastle Carling Academy and Astoria, London in December! How about that?! Good luck to the guys. Two cracking bands on one night, what more could you ask for? Well... Fit Goth Chicks on the end of my dick, maybe. |

Cool, yeah i saw them at Blackpool a few weeks ago. What a bunch of Rotters! They are really good live, good stage performance too. The masks make it more fun. I got a bulletin through too and it said they were playing with Hawkwind at Exeter and Cardiff as well! |

As part of my Exeter preps, I wondered what U/R sound like. It was only when I went to their myspace page and heard the lyric, "Fit goth chicks on the end of my dick" that I realised this is the band some expressed concern about, before Hawkfest. I may be slow, but I get there in the end |

Hi Graham. yeah, it seems UR are controversial at the very least! It seems some people, for some strange reason, don't take kindly to Fit Goth Chicks on the end of my dick, but I find it utterly fantastic and very witty. Its a bit of fun, they sing about all the taboo stuff in todays society. Sex, death, drugs and lesbian vampires, doing your mum, your sister being a lesbian and such. I laugh my head off at these lyrics, they are catchy songs, well written and witty. It's good decent music, fun as hell and a good laugh with it. That, to me, is what Britain is short of. When did we last laugh? Credit crunch this, terrorist attack that, taxes rising, petrol prices soar, wages lowered... oh hell, show me the coffin now. But in step Uncle Rotter, and gives us back our much needed joy, with a healthy dose of sordid naughty filth. Btw, Graham, wait til you hear "don't smoke crack....". |

I'd heard of these guys before hawkfest but never really paid much attention to them. I stumbled into the 2nd tent a little worse for wear half way through their set and they blew my mind, literally!! Blinding show |

Ditto! I think Uncle Rotter should be putting their music to the big crowds, i really do hope they get to support at Astoria, as most of the other support acts I've seen over the years aren't very original or entertaining, but these guys are, so to get Hawkind and a decent, catchy band like Rotter on in one night is well worth the money and makes for a very satisfying gig, if you ask me. I see their tour poster says Lesbian Vampires UK Tour. D'ya reckon we'll be getting to see these ladies of the nite? *rubs hands excitedly* |
