290404871914 This ref number is another E BAY wonder. Sold for £822. It had been stuck to a wall and drawn on. Can't even confirm who did the drawings.
If only I had that cash to splash around on stuff. :shock:

Not being familiar with the term "metal acetate" I looked it up. I'd imagined this 'Motorhead' disk being literally a disk made of metal. Bit rough on the stylus! But it turns out it would be chunky plastic.

It;s a new one on me too. Reading the description I got the impression it had a metal core. Either way, the price stumped me anyway.

There's also a Sire (USA) 10" metal acetate of Quark/Fable Of A Failed Race, it's listed in the 'Hawkon' programme.

an acetate is a disc made for production purposes. It is like a matrix for the commercial run od the vinyl. It is a metal disc with a thin layer of vinyl on both sides.
This is a rarity to find.
