Johnnie Walker ended his Sun afternoon show on Radio 2 with Silver Machine "an amazing single and an amazing band" and then wished Dave & Co all the best for the forthcoming tour. Nice one Johnny (his show's always interesting, interviewed Rick Wakeman yesterday).

Another Shout out from my old mate JW today - in profiling English country rock band Unicorn, who supported Fleetwood Mac, The Doobie Bros, Linda Ronstadt....and Hawkwind.

Starfarer has them as support act to Hawkwind in 1976 - does anyone know if this was the Astounding Sounds tour?

Cheers

Tom
