Fully understood Kris, I hope you"re on the road to recovery now, and we all wish you well. Roll-on next summer then. : :P

I'll hang on to that Kris and next summer would be excellent.
Best wishes.

Many thanks for the update Kris. Hope your recovery is progressing well and that your health will be fully restored as soon as possible - as others have said, health must always come first; us fans can be a little like kids in a sweet shop at times (and what sweets there are!!!).

Looking forward to August and December and anywhere else I can get to....

All the best.

Just to add to everyone else's comments... Get well soon Kris! However much we may crave a Hawkfest, your health is far more important!

So sorry to hear you've been unwell.
You are wished the speediest of recoveries by all at this end of the computer.

Your health is worth so much more than a few days in the sun.

Take care, rest well and see you at one of the many Hawkwind outings this year....

Hi Kris,

Hope things are looking up for you and you're much better. We all understand and I'm sure we all agree fans' frustrations and wishes are much less important than your health.

Love, Light, Peace,

J

Another well wisher here.

Thanks for trying Kris, and thank your Mum, I know you both put in a fantastic effort behind the scenes on this stuff. Dave is the Duck and you and your Mum are the feet franticly paddling below the surface

See you at Porchester.

Still kinda wondering if the Hawkwind Holiday will ever come off. A cruise upto catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights would be top dog. Of course, I"d be happy in a ramshakle old boat chugging away up the Humber Estuary instead drinking ice-cold beers, listening to some great tunes, and watching the odd suicide jumper leap off the humber bridge for entertainment, [just as the sun is setting of course]

Yes, all the best Kris.

In 2010 we can have the north vs south, and east vs west location discussion all over again!

Early marker... Devon gets my vote :D

Devon gets my vote too and to be more spesific: Honiton, the same site as last year.

Got to speak up for the Northerners. Cant remember one any further up here than next to East Midlands Airport 2 years back [maybe wrong of course]. Devon and Cornwall are lovely I know, but so are the Yorkshire Dales, The Peak District, and not forgetting the wonderful lake District...... or even the grand Kielder Forest area {Come on you Geordies- back me up]

anywhere in the north is great (as, of course were Devon and Derbyshire recently...) - Kielder Forest would be great and I think Witton castle (spelling?) hosts a lot of stuff, I recall bike rallies being hosted? So, yes, you got my backing on that one.

But, of course, any decent site anywhere really.....

I think that nr. Blackpool counts as being a bit more Northerly than the midlands.

The place last year had everything going for it. It would be great to go back there again.
