I've started this thread hoping to be proved wrong.
The longer we wait the less likely Hawkfest 2009 will happen when you take into account the amount of work and planning that has to take place.
So, who's up for the event in 2010?

I def will be, mainly because I probably won't be able to make any 2009 one if it happens. My budget is pre-allocated through to September now!

Squashy my friend. You are in luck. Somewhere on this forum Hawkwind announced that 2009 was off due to problems with geting the license but they were planning to hold one definately in 2010.
The date is yet to be fixed and far to early to expect one, but have patience and i'm sure you will be rewarded.
Failing that we all turn up at the farm and refuse to leave until Dave has played us a few tunes.. How does that sound.

Nice comment!! I want to do hawkfest cos you guys sound like a bunch of maniacs having a good laugh!! I will be patient but roughly speaking when does hawkfest occur? Sounds like it occurs latter end of July say third or fourth week!! I know that the bulldog bash has/having probs with licences!! Look forward to meeting you next year if not before

It will most likely be the latter part of July. 2008 was at the start of the school holidays which is good as it makes it easier for those with kids.
Just keep coming back to this forum and one day you should hear the great news.
