It seems only 440 people have watched this 2010 youtube clip in three years, so it prompted me to kick off this thread, in the hope that others know of any similarly obscure UNUSUAL footage.

I stumbled over the 2½ minute vid on one of my hard drives tonight, and checked to see if it's still on YouTube, and it is: Northern Sands.

Here's another screenshot:

Maybe slightly less obscure but probably the most atmospheric footage I've seen of the band.

Fish eye lense footage of the band at the Green Man Festival on the Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble stage by Brian Dougans of FSOL/Amorphous Androgynous.

I think they had/have vague intentions of putting a DVD out of all the bands, but they move even slower than Hawkwind and are no doubt hampered by coming to multiple agreements.

I'd love to see the whole performance footage.

Not sure of the overall obscurity (as we all know about this event) but this has less views than Graham's does so it must qualify on that basis at least.

Hey thanks - From someone who didn't attend Hawkestra, that was a nice little insight into the 'goings on' of that period.
The poor quality footage gave it a kinda ghostly edginess.

You're welcome.

I agree. A nice insight.

The first two videos are visually unusual, and the third's certainly noteworthy! I didn't know there was any Hawkestra footage circulating. Cheers for the links.

This one's unusual in an audio sense, and some folks might have missed it:

The Black Corridor narrated in French, 2008.

That's a new one on me! I see your French Black Corridor and raise you last year's Polish Sonic Attack

OMG! I used that version as a pee-break, at several gigs. I hope it stays obscure, and doesn't resurface at the Shepherd's Bush show.

This next one's not a winning hand, more a total change of tack.

In some ways it shows the band with more clarity than anything since probably that TV studio performance in Nottingham, 1990.

Also, it's a unique instrumental version of their two-bass Angels of Death, although that was clearly unintentional.

Here's a great view (from 30s in to the video) of someone walking down a ship's corridor, making a couple of turns, and there's Hawkwind playing!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Nes7d7Wj6A

It's Hawkwind on HMS Belfast, for the Sea Shepherd bash back in 2011.
