I wondered how a band would be able to follow Hawkwind on stage at thier own festival. The Tits of Death managed it quite well I thought. They are a fun group and not too serious which is what was needed.
If it was a group who took themselves seriously then I think they would have failed.
Look forward to seeing them again sometime.

Well, "serious" or not "serious".....which is not the point really:)......they play farout music which is what 90% of the new bands do NOT do :):)
TITS OF DEATH for ever.....right in the UGLY face of of conservatism!:)

Hey, I didn't mean it to sound like I was knocking them. I really enjoyed thier gig and have recently suggested them to a local promotor to try and get them down to Southampton for a gig.

I would love to see them again. I just felt that they had that extra something that was needed to follow Hawkwind. Not many of the bands could have done that.

No worries man :):)........since music is a very subjective ART, I just wanted to "defend" TOD because I reckon that if we want music to keep on thriving, it needs to be less "plastic" and more real, just what TOD are doing! .....down to earth, if ya know what I mean  8).

Hey snakes and Ladders,

Thanks for the pm. I've looked at one of the sites you mentioned and i'm still not happy with it. If you fancy it, I can burn the pics I have onto a disk and either seek you out at Portchester on the saturday if you're going or post it to you if you pm me with your address.

sound like a plan?
