I had the opportunity to see and hear Jason playing at the Crescendo festival just a few weeks ago and his sudden death was really a terrible news to read. It was such a pleasure to see all the band enjoying themselves on stage together.
In the long list of the Hawkwind musicnauts, Jason had brought his own personnal touch to the Hawkwind sound and he will be dearly remenbered for this.
My condolences to all his friends and family.

Friday's additions
Chris Baker
Hi,
Just wanted to add my condolences to all of Jason's family and friends.
Just could not believe the news when I found out on Wednesday.
What a terrible shock and so cruel for one so young and talented.
Jason's undoubted mastery of the keyboards added so much to the Hawkwind sound.
He was equally at home soloing a melody or pumping out the chords - always in keeping with the song and the mood.
I would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to Jason, he brought so much to the band both in terms of his music and his great sense of fun, watching him over the past few years has been a pleasure and a privilege.
Nik and Ness
We saw you with hawkwind many times-always awesome !! you will be missed by many always -our love goes out to you and your family and friends-take care where ever the astral journey takes you -love Nik & Ness
Hugo Ringoir

Apologies this is posted late, I have just returned from holiday to
discover the most shocking news. Fundamentally, mere words could never do
justice to the memory of a man who was not just instrumental in brining a
new diversity to Hawkwind, he was also, I can comfortably say a friend.
Each and every time we met, a large hug was his greeting and that was the
essence of the man. He undoubetedy will be missed by many people and my
deepest condolences to his family. The most fitting tribute I can offer is
next Saturday night when 'Wind of Change' play a charity gig in Sunderland
when I will dedicate our revised version of 'Wind of Change' to the memory
of Jason Stuart, gone, but never ever forgotten. His spirit will live on
forever and one day we will all meet up together in deep space.
John
Hawklord of Shields.
Crescendo Festival
We are all very sad about Jason. All our condolences. We have a particular thought for his family and friends. Life is unfair.
