I'm just back from a week away and heard the sad news.
The beautiful thing that struck me about Jason is that whenever I saw him he was always smiling. I only met him the once and true to form he was friendly, down to earth and very funny!
Condolences to family and friends. He will always be around.
Love and peace
Al.

What shocking evening news......
My god, I lost Dagmar my wife shortly after the Love in Space gig in Bochum 1995 down to the same.
We even didn’t have time to talk and to say a Goodbye...

Jason long may you fly.
Peace

Christian

Rob Ayling -

As the sands of time keep falling . . . You are playing a gig in another universe.

WE will miss you MAN.

Rob Ayling & the Voiceprint Team

John Rogers

Desperate news. My condolances to all concerned. Saw Jason at the Astoria over the last few years and thoroughly enjoyed the different sound he brought to Hawkwind.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dilis.

Joe -

Just to say loved his music, really made an impression on me, very sad, love and peace

Joe

Noisemusic (Tim)

Please pass on my condolences. I only ever saw Jason play with the band
twice and was planning to see Hawkwind this Christmas and therefore of
course Jason. Why do people have to disappear so young. It's one of life's
mysteries.

I'm off to play some Hawkwind and enjoy some of Jason's creative work. Best
way to remember someone you didn't actually know but enjoyed listening to.

Regards

Tim

Bernhard Pospeich -

We will never forget you Jason!
You are still a member of the mothership

Bernhard

Pete Braven -

Missed maybe but not lost.
I shall still be playing the tracks here, and not sorry that Stuart left
a pretty powerful mark on thousands of lives, including mine.
It is said that to become immortal, one must live a life worthy of
memory,.. what fine memories we have and so I guess the music will go on
forever.

Pete Braven

Sean -

jason a shining star twinkling in heaven

Patrick Fenton

Jason,

Your keyboards added an extra dimension to the Hawkwind Universe.

May your journey onwards always be peaceful

My thoughts are with you, your family and friends

Patrick Fenton

I didn't know until last night, when I logged on here and saw this terrible news.

I hope Jason's family are doing okay - I'm very sorry to hear about this shocking tragedy.

RIP Jason and our thoughts go out to the family and friends

Sarah, Pete, Simon and Andy

Jeff

Jason was a great addtion to Hawkwind. He was a great keyboard player, and was always having laugh. I remmber times at hawkfest 2007 and 08 when my dad (Jeff) and I bumped into him, usually when all three of us were quite drunk haha. He was a very friendly guy who will be dearly missed by all Hawkfans. Regards to his family and the Hawkwind family as this will be a very sad time for you all.

Rest in peace Jason our friend!

From Jeff and Philip Park.

Paul Cobbold

I will miss that wink, wry smile, humour and……yes, that compulsory, huge hug. So full of the joys of life - how cruel life can sometimes be in return. God Speed, Jason and thank you for all you gave. PC

So sad to lose such a genuinely warm and friendly guy. First time we met him he bought us a drink... So typical. It sealed a friendship, albeit brief, that will always be important to us. He brought an individual touch to the band that we'll miss hugely. Our thoughts and love to all the family...F&S xx.
