Sadly, it looks like the website has lapsed. It's still available as a cached version but the 'live' site is now dead.

Would be nice to have a backup of the material. It's proved invaluable over the years due to Steve's heroic efforts.

You can use waybackmachine.org to get to any version of it you like. It's a bit slow but the URL to the last version is this:

The track might be "Winter of Discontent" to those living in a parallel universe

Steve;
Your Starfarer website was the best Hawkwind library that I have encountered
in the past 45 years.
You provided me with an avenue of enjoyment and escape through all of your dedication.
I think we should all be thanking you.
I still hope to run into you someday.
Drink's will be on me.

Me being the arse I am will come out blunt and then deliver my goods...
Being the stubborn in a hurry ONLY wanting what I want at that very second, found it a bit too much work to shoot right at the (what else), material item desire I would have at the moment and I often did not agree with the opinions, however

EVERYBODY KNOWS IT WAS MORE THAN SECOND TO NONE

It was the best x 3 PERIOD

Nothing else cpming anywhere close, but my own hat also goes to the Andrew Dawson site to this day, for being all business and no motion picture, but it is NOT a comparison as Steve's has no comparison that I am aware

NOT an insult to any others like Adrian, etc and likely a cast of a 1000, but Steve is what everyone was always talking about when it's WEB

If we were to speak FANZINES farther back it would be different
SALUTE

Hiya Steve - hope all's well at your end. Long time no see (IoW?).

Thanks again for all the work over the years. Yourself, Brian Tawn (Hawkfan), Trev Hughes (Hawkfrendz) and Age Parr (Hawkeye) - and of course Dave Law for this site - are all legends and many fans are grateful for the contributions. You're all deeply appreciated, and nice guys too.

As I've mentioned before, is there somewhere we can pick up a backup of the data? It seems a waste to let it evaporate into the ether.

Keep the faith,

J
