What an absolute beauty of an album this is/was. The more I listen to it the more I get out of it and to echo DaiPunk on the 'Interesting' thread - Will Atomhenge do a proper job on this?

I like many of the Dave Brock albums more than the HW releases, which are more predictable. I hpe Atomehenge can get everything onto one disc.

Spacebrock is a Voiceprint release. I don't think Atomhenge has the rights to it.

Indeedy they have licensed it from Voiceprint and will be remastering and cramming it with shed-loads of extra tracks for a re-release very, very soon.

Here's a link which shows what Cherry Red have licenses for.

Last on the Hawkwind list under Distant Horizons.
Credited as Hawkwind/Dave Brock.

Still no WOTEOT listed on there though. I think we're gonna be disappointed.

Can any of you hardcore enthusiasts out there, say if Spacebrock was ever released on vinyl?

1st appearance "Travellers Aid Trust" comp., second appearance on the 1st CD issue of "Church".
That's what I found remaining in my memory.

A slightly extended (I think the intro was marginally longer but not totally sure) version of damage of life showed up as a bonus track on the atomhenge reissue of Dave's agents of chaos album

Yes, Church Of reissue version about a minute longer at the beginning and half a minute at the end but otherwise the same. Come on Hawkwind release a proper live version from 89 with Simon House violin, PLEASE. It's like waiting decades for Time for Sale to turn up. Atomhenge released some great extra stuff but nothing from GWR or Bronze. Maybe Dave or someone at GWR could find something lodged down the back of the sofa like a proper 89 studio version or there's a version waiting in the cue to be released when Palace Springs eventually gets the remastering treatment.

Live version of Damage of Life is on the Hawkestra sequel called 'Yule Ritual', complete with Simon on violin..

..and a nice reggae-style intro from Harvey..
