Pre ordered to get this on the day of launch on Monday. Now Wednesday and its still not here. Couldnt wait any more so went to Amazon to listen to the clips, where I discover the same album available for £11 instead of the £17 that Plastic head got me for. That sucker is going straight back if it ever turns up and I'll get the Amazon one on 24hrs and still save £££. What is the point of paying a premium for a pre order that turns up so late? I did the same thing with the Familiar looking Strangers new release ( great CD BTW) that was due for launch last Sat. When did it arrive? The day of the launch Lesson learned.

Hey that makes 3 of us totally miffed so far. I contacted them to ask why it's gonna cost me £5 more to get it shipped here than I can get it from ebay. Having never dealt with them before, do they have a reputation for being a bit sketchy?

..I'd like to think to hope that it's because they're giving more money to the band themselves.. ?
Distribution ethics?

Can't see that. I would imagine the band gt the same ££ irrespective of where the cd is bought. It's plastic head that are retaining max margin.

Plastichead remind me so much of Voiceprint. I wouldn't deal with them due to silly postage prices to Australia.
I also have got the new release pr ordered from another location and with postage its cheaper than what Plastichead were offering it for minus postage!!!
Do hope that future releases are alligned to Chery Red/Atomhenge who I have always been impressed by.

Yes, I've done the same as Ozhawk. In fact, I could get the Limited Edition release and download the mp3 from Amazon while I wait for it to arrive (which is very tempting, the waiting's killing me!) for less than buying it from Plastichead.

Ordered the ltd edition CD from Amazon for £11 which also gives you a £1 credit against any downloads. Shipping date is 7/5/12. Hence the Amazon album download is a bargain £3.99! whilst I wait for the CD to arrive.

Actually it was 10 quid on amazon last night. I unfortunately did the reverse order, paid 4.99 for the download, then relented and bought the CD for a tenner (since the release day is later in Germany) and realised I had got a pound of a download. Oh well.
