Totally gutted to hear the news that Huw has passed on.

I only (relatively) recently got to know Huw & Marion, & they welcomed me into their fold with open arms .

Such a loss to music, but more importantly, such a terrible loss of such a talented & humble man........ a truly great person.

Heart goes out to Marion.......... can't imagine how she's feeling :-(

My old dad says that all you can hope from life is to be remembered well.... ARE remembered well.

Much love.

Gareth , Lorna & lil Callum.

Ditto that. They say that you should never meet your hero's but I was very proud and honoured to be invited to write the sleeve notes for the recent reissue of 'Night Air', which meant interviewing Huw over the 'phone. We had a great chat and he told some great stories from the road, some which made it into the sleeve notes.

Thanks to Huw & Marion for the invitation to be part of their world...Huw's beautiful, majestic guitar playing is a precious gift we can all treasure. My thoughts are with Marion and the whole family at this sad time.
