as myself & my wife are getting older we were wondering what type of facilities were going to be at hawkfest?

Margaret Tait's sent out some info on this, now. One bit appeals: "We even have a village store for all of your essentials."
I think fans of the TV series The Prisoner will like my mental image of a quaint village shop stuck in the middle of the Hawkwind field, with a sign nearby saying
