I got an email from Plasticarse yesterday saying that the ltd vinyl has been delayed from the pressing plant and they would send it as soon as they got it. That may be, so what's the excuse for no sign of the CD?

............................................... i would also like to hear if anyone has received the limited vinyl from any other outlet ,i ordered the limited vinyl the same day it went up on this site ,,if the vinyl hasnt come out of the plant yet ,then i can live with that ,but it dosent let "SPASTIC HEAD RECORDS" off the hook ,what would it take to email everyone,and another thing ,some people have got dodgy neighbours and arrangements have had to be made to make sure someone is in when "postie" hits town ,this shit is avoidable......RANT OVER......V.MELDREW

Got fed up with them and cancelled. Placed with Amazon and a few days later its was with me. Moaned about it here: really-pi33ed-off-with-plastichead-re-onward-t4436.html

They don't seem very keen on refunding the dosh after the orders been cancelled either. Bunch of Twonkers if u ask me.

Dont usually use HMV, but was passing, so looked in, there it was at £10. So that saved me waiting from Amazon

These special additions were delivered late to us due to a pressing delay at the manufacturers.

However we have them now and all hawkwind special will be shpped this week.

pre ordered and paid for my limited edition vinyl on march 24th,still not arrived so phone plastichead and was told that despatch problems were the hold up.should get it by this friday apparently.have had to dload it off vuze(sorry)just to hear it as i cant get it anywhere...will delete it once my beloved vinyl has arrived...

...................JAMUN ,i only got the email because i contacted them ,apparently you have to get in touch first ,otherwise they dont seem to give a shit ,extremely bad practice in my book ,and i hope DAVE BROCK is listening to all this ,i know it s not the bands fault but this does reflect on the band, ,all this negativity could have been avoided if they had taken a few minutes to email everyone .

Agree with the CrazyHorse - I would have thought it does reflect badly on any band in a similar position. It ruined any expectations on listening pleasure and as stated before will not be buying it now, having heard much of it online at different various sites.

You are aware the plastic head website currently says 21st May release date? They have been pretty shoddy with release schedules on both this and Blood of the Earth. I wonder how much extra money they made from fans getting impatient and busy the mp3 version, or standard version while waiting? The cynic in me wonders whether it was a deliberate ploy to get people to do just exactly that.

Finally got mine from sendit. Difficulty getting the stock apparently. Thought about cancelling and going through amazon but stuck it out in the end. Haven't we been here before with Hawkwind?
