Anyone notice the song writing credits in the ONWARD booklet??
The Right To Decide credited to just 'Brock' ?? :o Surely shome mishtake! it may be a typo but the co-writer of this track is very easily upset and no fan of Dave's these days  so more care should have been taken!

Credits have never been a Hawkwind strong point. I think there's someone missing from Flowering of the Rose as well even if it is a jam.

Regardless of who wrote it, the original version of Right to Decide is outstandingly good and the new version isn't.

As for Green Finned Demon, Calvert is credited on the original 12" single on Fliknife, but not elsewhere.

The original is *still* simply stunning after all these years (and plays)

Don't particularly like it, I like it even less than the original. Probably the worst thing on Onwards

It's a live version from a festival in 2008, lineup Brock/Dibs/Blake/Stuart/Chadwick. I think it's part of a tribute to Jason again. I think it's a great version personally, especially how much of the sound Brock covers with his guitar (there are chords and the lead line - in prior live versions, he has done the chords, whereas on this, he does the lead line).

One of my favourite Hawkwind songs and I think all the versions are at least pretty good.

Personally I loved it! Both versions-- but the new one flows better.

Am I correct that there was a 10" vinyl Right to Decide promo released at the time of Tepee?
Never seen a copy.

This is a tricky one, but I think I acquired the skill to field it -
In fact it is so tricky I am not quite sure what to call it.
It does exist, but maybe only as a test-press of some kind, and will be a real wallet drain if you find one.
blank white label.
meanwhile, I see HW 77 is out, could you ask Enki to review it quickly please?
the last one on Secret Records was great.

meaning: if nobody else does, I will have to throw it on my dinner plate and dig in with knife and fork to be CERTAIN.
