As mentioned elsewhere, "Onward" has entered the UK album chart at #75 but I've noticed a couple of other things too.

They're currently #1 on the Amazon Hard Rock chart - I emphasise currently because the chart is updated hourly!

And looking at the iTunes Hawkwind Top Songs list, there's no surprise with the first item:

#1 "Silver Machine"
#2 "."

ie, the 'Mystery Track' from "Onward" is in second place. Does this mean it's already outsold the likes of "Urban Guerilla"??

I thought the itunes one was based upon ratings rather than sales. Either that or there's been a sudden run on sales of the mystery track and it's soaring up the singles chart...

It is good that they're getting some fairly widespread positive feedback.

Good to see them in this position in the 'mainstream', just for some recognition eh!

Amazon: no UK income tax, no VAT.

Times are tough at the top. The rich get richer and the poor go to food banks.

If you're implying that there's no money back and there's no guarantees, then watch out... Amazon might sue your ass off!

On the other hand, if you want the best 'uns but you don't ask questions... then some people look at SoulSeek.

Personally, I get my kosher Hawkwind from eBay or Amazon and the bootlegs from Dime-a-dozen, so there you go.

I wonder what Dave and the boys think about their lack of recognition, I doubt it bothers them. I went years being the only one I knew who would give em house room. Its a sad fact that because they aint mainstream people wont give them a listen with an open mind....still thats their loss and I am always guaranteed a ticket to see em. Looking forward to a night of space travel at The Tiv on the 1st of June

And, at a much, much cheaper price than what it costs to see 'bigger' bands/artists.

Welcome to the forum, 9hawklord!
