In the global Passport Office league tables, I think they've always been behind Newport (the office that issues UK passports) Then again, Newport has a budget of billions of pounds to play with! I think mine took around a month to wriggle its way onto my doormat. Incidently, do Hawkwind do that stamping of passports thing anymore? I remember hearing about how someone nicked the stamp from the Porchester gig (2009) but I heard nothing more afterwards.

What is your hurry???? We are sorry for the delay. We do not charge for the Hawkwind passport it is something we give away free to fans who want to be part of the Hawkwind family. The lady who makes them and sends them out, (voluntarily), has been ill. As there have been no Hawkwind shows or any need for you to have a passport in the last month, we thought her health was more important........She thanks you for your 5 emails reminding her of your urgent need.....

...........first of all im very sorry to hear that the lady who does the passports is not well and i wish her a speedy recovery ,and i have "no urgent need " as you put it, its just that when i was told it would be with me soon and then it didnt arrive ,i immediatly thought it had gone west in the hands of our not so brilliant postal service ,had i been informed the lady wasnt well i would have waited patiently ,it would have only taken a few words in an email to let me know, i am not telepathic
