I've only met DaveLaw once - he set me to work clearing up after a Hawkwind gig....

Admittedly, though, this was at the second Porchester 2009 gig, and I'd previously volunteered to help. So, as rock 'n' roll gangmasters go, he ain't so bad, really :)

I'll add my thanks to that - the forum (and other media) has been and remains an invaluable asset for the fans, and DL's done a great job, keeping just enough hands-off to let us get on while still keeping things moving.

(And he's also a nice guy to chat to, always friendly and smile.)

This comes up every now and again, which I think just shows how well deserved it is.

Knowing from experience (sometimes bitter experience) what can go wrong with a forum if it isn't well moderated, Dave's good work here is very much appreciated by me as well.
