Does anyone know where this CD can be legally bought or downloaded? It doesn't appear to be available any longer.
Thanks,
Tito

That's a shame it's not available any more. Have you tried Voiceprint just in case they have a few, the cat. no. for the CD is HAWKVP 42CD. A couple of the tracks can also be found on other CDs I think. I think the story was that Dave's computer crashed and he lost the music, the album became the tracks he managed to salvage/re-record. He wasn't entirely satisfied with this so it became a limited release. He probably wanted to keep it open for perhaps re-visiting the project one day, although things that wind up on the Hawkwind back-burner tend to get forgotten. Good luck.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-orcK6u8SLM

Makes me glad that i ordered it when it first came out-as the case is with most of the Hawk's releases--except for the current BOTE-which i still don't have do to being in the US-still yet to be released. i am actually surprised that the dedicated ones that use this forum-missed the deal--oh but wait--it might be released on "vinly" as some add on to a future product for sale-so just wait-this seems to be the pattern of "collectibles" such as space sex on the Alien vinyl-now every where or 'Terra Mystica' off of "Business Trip" now available on cd-so why by for collecting when its value will be gutted by future releases or mp3 download--is it about collecting or the music? personally i think that releasing vinyl only stuff stinks. i was mad on my vinyl in the early days and the music industry decided to almost stop supporting it altogether, so i converted to cd and sold my vinyl and turntable and everything and recollected all the stuff on cd. then it seemed to be a dirty tactic to release just the odd song here and there on vinyl only despite the fact we had been encouraged to switch to cd cos most albums were only coming out on cd at the time. the annoying thing is if hawkwind wernt the real deal and by that i mean they kinda stay underground the stuff aint quite so widespread ont he net. for example metallica had a vinyl only ramones cover on a 7" single around the st anger time. it was on the net and i downloaded it within a few hours. not cos i'm a dirty rotten pirate but cos i aint got no means to play the vinyl so therefore why should i buy it. i agree with the benefits of collecting value, that goes for cd singles and limited editions but when we talk realeasing the odd song on an almost obsolete format then theres something wrong with the industry in my view.

Lesson learn't... Never chuck your old Hawkwind lp's if not just for the artwork and sleeve notes alone. As far as worrying about a couple of songs that appear on the vinyl version of BOTE.... Who gives a flying toss...they'll show up somewhere else on a future release. I've still got my turntable and I ain't buying a 2nd format of this release regardless of how much I like it. I highly doubt Dave Brock is becoming a zillionaire from the vinyl sales of BOTE. The 2 cd version more than satisfies my Hawkfix.

yeah turn up in the future. i had to wait 15 years or so for space sex to show up on the remastered release which i downloaded legally a few weeks back. hope it aint gonna be another 15 years before we get sunship. kinda glad the bootleggers done the terra mystica thing years back as the title track for that was a vinyl only thing aswell but they screwed up the release and there was no space sex. i didnt see the point in keeping my crackly old vinyls and turntable once i started replacing my back catalogue with cds sleeve notes or not. i aint got a lot of space in my home and some things gotta go. i aagree dave aint making serious bucks from the vinyl only thing but still dont stop it being frustrating as hell. it would cost me a pretty penny to buy the 2lp BOTE and a turntable just for one 2 minute song. but as a big hawkwind fan and collector of hawkwind music i just want it on mp3 cd or whatever.

Two songs from The Brock/Calvert Project are avalible on Take Me To Your Future, and one of them ("Ode To A Time Flower") is IMO the second-best song on B/C Project (the best being "Centigrade 232")...

Anyone willing to sell their copy (or extra copy they may have)? PM me if so.
Thanks, Tito

Anyone willing to sell their rare Hawkwind albums are in dire economic crisis, you shouldn't encourage them to do so. Let them get out of the nasty situations by robbing someone or prostituting themselves instead, they'll have an easier time forgiving themselves for doing that than for selling their HW stuff!

Well, in this economy, I could be a good alternative if rent is needed! Nonetheless, I know that some HW fans buy a copy or two...or three. Just asking an honest question. T
