Anyone else desperately hoping that there will be new Hawkwind tour merchandise available at the upcoming u.k. gigs...?

Well you would hope so. Its something the band seem to be lacking a bit of focus on.

They had some stuff at Portchester so hopefully they will have something sorted. I will have a few quid to splash out on an early Yule pressie to myself so here's hoping.

Maybe they will have a repressing of Spaced Out In London available!!

Is BFB the same as XXL?

I'm fairly skinny but I still get t-shirts in XL or XXL, for when I wear them over other stuff in the winter. And in summer, I like my clothes to be light and loose anyway.

Has the upcoming tour got a name or title? You can't challenge "December 2009 Tour" under the trades description act, but it does sound a bit prosaic.

To follow in the vain of the Porchester T-shirts, we could have "40th anniversary Xmas show" on it, or one of Andy H"s earlier designs and "40th xmas show" , or quite simply "Hawkwind xmas show, with added Marmite"

I'm off to Southampton so as it's the first gig hopefully they will have everything ready. If they do have the CD available I'll get two so you don't miss out.

If you really want to confuse the bods on the t-shirt stand then ask them for an extra medium. They always turn round to get one before they realise.
