Some people have to book their holidays many months in advance. In which case the employer deserves it, if the poor downtrodden worker pulls a sickie.

You can get fake sick notes online, it seems: http://www.doctorsnotestore.com

and here's a page of advice on the noble art of pulling sickies:

http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Jobs-and ... 24985.html

In my experience, backs are a good one. The thing to do is cultivate the condition gradually, over some months. Wince when you pick a paper clip up :D

I am getting pretty desperate for the dates as well.
Things at work are now very tight on the holiday front for the summer, Plus other festivals etc need to be booked.

What would help me at the moment is to know when Hawkfest WONT take place!

Could anyone connected to Hawkwind confirm it wont Happen w/end of August 7-9.? strange request perhaps, but for various complex reasons if a cant eliminate that weekend in the next couple of days I may end up not being able to go at all

Hello Folks!

Sorry about the lack of news, we are still awaiting license approval and site confirmation, but if all goes to plan, Hawkfest will be held on the last weekend in July again...24th-26th July.

Hope this helps...

We have a meeting on site tomorrow afternoon, so we will have more news then..

Best wishes

The Hawkfest Team

the last two hawkfests have been great. but what with porchester and other festi appeareances, i doubt id be able to make this year.

(isle, didnt say after the event, but we were in the camper van next to you last year and who would not want your kids to enjoy themselves like they did last year?......but, i know, it aint always easy!)
