I've not heard any Trower since Bridge of Sighs (read a few guitar mag interviews with him though). This is pretty good - especially for something released in 2017!

He's still quite influenced by Jimi, isn't he!

Thanks for letting me know SA, and one more question if anyone could be so kind as to correct me if I am WRONG

I hear him sing "as you go from star to star", but I can mishear lyrics and if this is case it stinks please let me know.
The track is still GODLIKE but that line is what I have been hearing.
(or is it "star to sky". "sky to sky" or none of these, plus no matter what the track might be to him)

also the first link does not contain the image distraction.

JUST ran into his 1980 very well expressed view re the Hendrix thing

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0VxU-7Y7ubY

Before that I had listened to Harum Scarum demos and find these 2 things superb if Trower is part of anyone's bloodstream as mine.

Steve I think he never wants to TOTALLY abandon the Hendrix influence and I think he might have showed it powerfully on the song in question.

To me, Trower has always been his own entity, and I have always known the influence.
I would say his music is more "mature" and "subtle". I feel Hendrix never had as much of the DREAMY quality nor the Funk parts

I do not mean to be such a forum hog, I have always been like this

Listening to Trower today as a fluke.
YouTube was flashing him at me as it tends to do, and I allowed myself in, in was surpised to find more that would hold my attention.
LOVE 1980 with him
