Fight to change the things which you find yourself complaining about ~ to the degree that change is possible.

Question Authority.

Petition representatives in government.

Democracy is your voice ~ make sure you're voice is heard

Never give up, even if a battle happens to be lost ~ the struggle continues and there will always be another battle to be fought. In the end, it's not whether one side wins or loses ~ it will be the cause for which one fights that will be all that really matters.

indeed Vik and true - personally i always found myself as a 'back seat man' - always on the fringes and never involved in circles and all that - i guess maybe an 'aura' can 'influence' people too - i like weirdo's!

one can always express a view for the cost of a postage stamp ~ unless of course that'll bring the "shirts" 'round callin' at your door.
If it's like that, a letter signed
"Annie Nonomis" with no return post may still be better than none.

This is it then. Many will say nice work & job done. Others will carry on groaning trying to hold back the sands of time.
One things for sure right now; There is no stopping the change moving forward into unchartered territory. Unless one is over 50 & remembers how it all was before the great eu failure.

I'm over fifty - I remember three-day weeks and power cuts. :?

I just hope the political/media argument and commentary on the issue gets a bit more grown up from hereon in - but I suspect the Tories might get even more uppity.

Testing times ahead I think. Hopefully, as a nation 'we' are up to it.

i remember when ireland joined the common market/euro in 1973 me da said something like - 'thank god for that - it will distance us from britain' - initially ireland might have benefitted but then silly politicians done thing's like give away our fisheries amongst myriad's of other thing's - i certainly wish the british folk well and hope joe public doesn't get hit too hard in the pocket - it's a brave move

as an afterthought Steam to being over 50 - i'm 52 and a bit - with the emphasis on the bit! - seem's the years accelerate as time passes - a day in one's childhood could pass for a month now! - although I don't miss getting kicked around the school yard - haha!

3 day week & candles for lighting, were about as relevant as the Vauxhall Viva & penny collared shirts for the time
