If I remember the answer was along the lines of they had heard nothing and had no replies from them since the idea was first conceived.

I seem to recall the answer being along the lines that J A had contacted HW with a view to a collaboration, HW had emailed a reply showing some interest in the idea and no reply has yet been recieved from J A.....
