Coloured or clear are slight noisier

Incidentally I hear the newest pressings by Plastichead which have jumped from "Back on black" BACK to "Let them eat Vinyl" are slightly lighter gauge than 180 gram, or at least some are.
Which seems fine to me, those 180's are a mouthful but i do not know everything and this might be insane.
I have said before that the clear pressings tend to crackle.
I like black because i need to SEE the grooves, not to mention the sound
