I have borrowed a 6 sleeper tent and am set to arrive with 3 kids from 4 to 13 by car (little)

Aye defo dont forget you wellies i did last year and it rained all the time apart from Sunday but i know for a fact if i had took my wellies it would have been beautiful, so im taking them this year.your gonna need a big storage box on top of your little car if your bringing that many peeps. Dont forget to bring an empty carrier for your water and in my experience a tin opener, someone always forgets one of those lol. A packet of baby wipes come in very useful as you can use them for almost everything im sure there is a festival guide on the banana joes website link from Hawkfest microsite if not you can usually find a good one on efestivals web site. if i think of anything else i will let you know. Peace see you in a fortnight Bev x

There's a suggested checklist of festie essentials on the official Larmer Tree website. See: http://www.larmertreefestival.co.uk/med ... _guide.pdf

Cheers

Steve

I recommend bringing more fag papers than you think you'll need, and have some back-up ones (and baccy) wrapped against the elements :)

(I've stopped calling them Rizlas, as I try not to buy that brand anymore... the sticky gum ain't what it used to be.)

In the past, I've gone for minimalist squalor. Packet soup, and tinned stuff like ravioli that can be eaten cold from the tin... quick and simple, that was my approach going to Stonehenge on foot. Thirty years on, and using a car, things are different... I can take masses of stuff.

Will there be anywhere to plug my Sky box and widescreen TV in :D

Things you really want to take with you...

pillows - you can't beat sleeping on your own pillow

clothes so that you can layer up if it's cold - t-shirts, long sleeved t-shirts, sweat shirt, fleece, coat...

bog roll

bin bags

disposable BBQs with stands or bricks if there's no legs on them (so you don't burn the grass)

baby wipes

kitchen roll

bottle / can opener

extra socks and boots in case it's wet

tent pegs & mallet - you'd be amazed at how many people forget these...

bread, crisps and cheese slices - makes a great sandwhich if you can't be bothered to cook

neurofen / zirtek
