My friendly old hound doesn't take to well to being left at home or with strangers any more, and the missus says she won't be going if the dog can't.
Anyone know what the policy is, re animals at the Fest?

Snap. Our hounds just want to curl up and go to sleep, so they can go to the OAP's to be looked after, but our small one wants to come and meet every one. She has said she would be happy to apply for a passport if it helps.

i know in the past they have always allowed dogs with well behaved owners, as long as you clean up after your pet etc, we took ours to all 3 hawkfests and he loves them, but we are well behaved owners and i would imagine with it being a private fest they probably will allow dogs this year too but please dont quote me on this as i can;t find anything on the hawkfest site or microsite. Peace Bev x

Mine already has a passport (We live in the Netherlands)! It cost a bloody fortune too, what with all the rabies shots and endless jabs, pills and tests. Still, the old 6 month quarantine rule was much worse. I wouldn't put a dog through it.

Ah! (sound of penny dropping!) No she hasn't got a HWPP; not even a canine version.
I actually thought you jokingly meant a passport for travelling from the Isle of Wight to the mainland. .
"..It's hardly overseas, is it?."
"You wanna try walking it, mate!" (good old uncle Albert.)
