Or somewhere in UK where more people who want to,can get to it? Nice places, but I think that's a serious point. There were a number of people on the forum who said they weren't able to make it to the Isle of Wight. That's a shame. I think it was a great idea to have it on the original site on the 40th anniversary. However I like the idea of enabling as many as possible to come and enjoy too.

How's about "a boggy field near the A5," which allegedly is the geographical centre point of England. (LINK.) It's near Nuneaton, though, which is enough to put anyone off!

it's weird (english) people found it so hard to travel to IOW...lymington is about the same distance from manchester as is honiton, where the last one was held, the ferries were cheap, and the fessie was only 5 miles from yarmouth....i met canadians, americans, dutch, germans, scandanavians, scots, welsh, irish......what a totally amazing weekend!!!!

If that happens then maybe the time after that could be the UK and then somewhere in Europe, near Amsterdam perhaps.

Yer sorry, that's why I made such an ambiguous topic

Considering just how many people were there from outside the UK, it makes sense to hold one abroad somewhere - if they made the effort to travel to the UK, surely we can all make an effort to go somewhere warm next time

i'd traveled from France, some others from Germany, Norway, Holland and Belgium, it's not the Solent waters that did worry us, it was just part of the fun

Somewhere in the East of England would be nice, on a tight budget me, can't even afford to get to any gigs on this years tour
Norwich would be superb :)
