I genuinely want to know, as I regard your views.

dear Vikmarlow,
I was genuinely disgusted by your link to that military site. Particulary that you did not flag it with some sort of warning. Call me fluffy & or old fashioned or whatever you like !
I do see links like that one on occasions & have to conclude that they breed more war, aggression, destruction & suffering just by viewing them.
If I was to put a link on here re: animal welfare or similar, I would expect some folk to take offence. So I don't do links & if I have to, then they are flagged up. That way we all stand a fairer chance of not brainwashing each other silly.
I hope you read this as a response & not a rant.

Thanks for your reply, Smugdruggler.
I get where you're coming from.
I thought the link text itself, e.g. Lockheed Martin was explanatory, given the title but then I failed to recognise your side of things in general, as relates to after-effects.
Apologies for that, and thank you again for taking the time to respond, as I said I regard your opinion, Smugdruggler.

much appreciated.

An afterthought :

After some reflection I wish to acknowledge that I have a tendency to examine some rather dark topics on occasion. I only put them forth in hope of initiating insightful discussion, which I view as potentially valuable in terms of solutions based on unique and independent thought.

We are all complex creatures, humanoids that we are; if I have appeared to show disregard for the capacity of collective unconscious in etiquette-psychology and, moreover, psychological dimensions of etiquette, please know it is not something I do with blatant disregard; on the contrary it is out of plain ignorance of concept to a degree, I might speculate as owing to long periods of isolation. the basic patterns of social interaction with which I am familiar are removed from the acceleration of time-frames in today's culture. It is a shortcoming on my part.
I shall strive to find new ways of expression that are constructive without being inimical or adverse in way of presentation.

life would be boring if we were all the same! - as regard's collective guilt on the other thread - i find myself totally independent of that stuff - given the parameter's/boundary condition's under which most decent folk are forced to exist and eek out a living imposed on them by the power's that be - 'imagine'

On the subject of Luke Skywalker, a number of people have commented that I look a lot like Mr HamillImage
I was flattered till I found out he's 6 years older than me...
Thats him in the photo. not me.
