We all know Netherlands to be the world's frontrunner in legal weed, now they've taken first chair again, with an all-out "have at it" lads & lass's :

"...I quit doing weed once it became legal..."

The stuff is being sold/used at mammoth levels regardless.
Why not sell it in a government controlled fashion and collect the tax?
If the greedy assholes used the profits as a capital injection into the infrastructure
it'd be a win-win scenario.
And I mean.... not to use the funds as fatcat pocket lining.
Create new jobs and give our crippled economy a boost.
It's a no-brainer in my opinion.

A LOT of people smoke pot and that will never change.
Federally controlled bulk production would create jobs and probably drive
product prices down.
The only people it'll hurt is the dealers but I'm sure there'd still be some kind
of a black market for hybrid, hi-test bud.
Make it illegal for minors to possess dope similar to booze laws.
The only problem is for police to calculate thc levels in suspected impaired drivers
without extracting blood samples.
I certainly wouldn't want a blue avenger mainlining a blooper into one of my ventricles
on some dark, abandoned roadside.
" Oh...a wise guy ayyy!"
...dumb....dumb.....da.....dumb...(funeral organ)

indeed and agree - the usual stance here is that it leads to 'heavier stuff' - i don't believe that for a minute - alcohol and it's possible consequences are much more of a concern - cannabis seems to have good healing properties too arthritis et al - it's still a 'dirty' word here
