What does your tourist book have under Barnsley MD?

BARNSLEY

Look out, there's a wide load coming! Ex-mining town still with a hint of coal dust. Locals speak English but only just. If you would like to step back in time to the 1870's, this is the town for you.

Extract from the Great British Book of Biffers, F***ers & C***s

Ages ago I asked about any Bolton gigs in the early 70s - which no one seemed to know anything about.. but just came across this poster

https://www.beatbooks.com/pages/books/3 ... dItem=true

Though strangely enough the blurb says there's no other references to the gig.. the mystery deepens..
