Was just at the latest Blue Man Group show here in upstate NY and thought I heard a familiar riff, then it turned into something else.

Any else see the show and keep thinking they would break into Spirit of the Age?

I'm gonna be very surprised if I hear Hawkwind in public places or on the radio or TV in my native country (Russia).

Watching a replay of For the Love of Cars with Philip Glenister Urban Gorilla was played as back ground music. It was the episode featuring the Triumph Stag.

Silver Machine played on the Ken Bruce Show this morning - created a fair bit of interest with people texting and emailing their experiences of Hawkwind and Stacia.

Just seen episode 3 of You, Me and the Apocalypse on Sky 2. At about 25 minutes in and the mad hippy chick is ranting about her ex bf leaving her for Hawkwind.

As a Brit living in the US it's pretty rare to hear a HW tune unless I'm playing it...But a few yrs back I started a new job...Well me and a bunch of us went to go and paint a place...We met the foreman there and I could see he was in charge of the music...Anyway We all start working and all of a sudden HW starts playing...That was a first for me here (25yrs)...Anyway I don't work there anymore (Union work jump job to job ) but me and the foreman have become very good friends over the yrs and hang out all the time

Surprised to hear the opening to Silver Machine on a BBC documentary last night about the life of Bob Monkhouse (legendary British comedian) when explaining how he was a technology freak who had all the latest recording gear in the 70s.
They also played a snippet of Neu too. Very random!
