I couldn't do it,I took her outside,loaded up old Betsy and made the mistake of looking her in the eye.So I shagged her for old times sake and gave her her p45.God its hard work being the leader here,it could drive you mad!

This is normally true,however my proof writer is also my 15 year old daughter who thinks that the utah remix of silver machine is the original and best!!!
It's a long,hard road and very lonely at the top(insert your own etc...etc...etc...) but hopefully rewarding when she finds out the arthur brown version is much better!!

I quite like the Utah Saints (U-u-u-u-u U-tah Saints!) mix myself. Then again I like Utah Saints. Whatever happened to then? They sampled Slayer on one of their songs which can't be bad at all!

I've never really understood the appeal of 'collectables' per se.
I try to get to hear all the different versions of their songs, because i'm interested in the music & Hawkwind are one those bands where any given song rarely sounds the same twice.
Although i do have about 6 or 7 different Hawkwind mugs that i bought off eBay years ago. I suppose they could be classed as 'collectables'. Although i stress that i do actually use them for drinking out of. I don't put them in a display cabinet & gaze at them fondly or anything.

think utah saints are still goin strong PB , did a great set at hawkfest 07  Im just in the middle of buying 2 hawkwind paintings off peter pracownik ... best part of three grand its costing me so im hoping that they become pretty collectable in years to come  ill see you some time later...................................
