Also how about Man playing or the pink fairies! But, will there be another Hawkfest next year and if, are there anyone who knows when Hawkwind will announce it or when did they do it before on the 4 Hawkfest's ? I don't remember what time I saw the announcement for Hawkfest 2008. Just curious regarding airtickets, vacation etc since I come from the land of the midnight sun
The first couple of 'Fests were announced really late in the year - as late as early May if memory serves. The last couple have been a bit better but I still wouldn't expect anything before about February.

Well, I'm certainly looking forward to Hawkfest 2009.
Same location and date would be great too...
It was an amazing weekend.

I've booked leave for the same weekend just in case - if it's a different weekend I'll be stuffed as there's no more leave available.

I first spotted the 2008 date announcement on 12 or 13 Feb, according to a note in my rather patchy diary.

Please, please, please, PLEASE have a Hawkfest 2009!! I couldn't go last year!!
I went in 2007 though and had a fantastic time.
Any time, anywhere - I'll be trying to get a ticket!
I think they should try and get Larry Wallis there. After the gig in London was cancelled last year, I was gutted and they never organised another one! Budgie would also be wonderful!! And Gong.

i wuld suggest that you go onto the hawks myspace and on the right hand side view on hawkwinds friends the hawkfest 2008 site not the video mind and look at the provisional dates that are there and start booking your holidays
