OK, folks, I've narrowed my favorite Hawkwind albums down to the following: Quark, Strangenes, and Charm and Hall of the Mountain Grill (this being my latest purchase). I never tire of these incredible sounds and wonder if anyone else out there is partial to either of these?

I didn't know this post was here,
or else I'd have replied sooner !

I've always had mixed feelings
about HOTMG, though I can never
put my finger on the reasons why.
Don't get me wrong, it is a great,
great album...I just don't find
myself playing it all that much ~ I
guess my emotional response to it
has failed to match my intellectual
recognition of its brilliance as a
work of art. This could very well be
down to a chemical imbalance on my
part, or maybe im just not partial
to the remastering on that CD ~ who
knows ? I do listen to it and I
love Lost Johnny, that being
one of my all-time favorite HW
tracks !

btw, I agree with Smugdruggler ~
nice photo :-)

[EDIT] :

careless of me to forget to comment
on QS&C ~ one of the best albums
ever, not just by Hawkwind but by
any band ! ~ period.
...er, I mean, exclamation point!
:-D

3 favourite Hawkwind albums: these 2 and Doremi - the same were the first 3 I heard.
If the pic could be reduced to a 10th of its former glory and the whole thread moved to Hawkwind Chat I'd be as Over the Moon as smugdruggler and Calvert!
