Hmmmmm! It'll never happen, but wouldn't Motorhead be a great surprise headline for Sunday!

Motorhead are playing Exeter eighteen days before Hawkwind this winter and I'm kinda hoping Lemmy will spend those eighteen days slumped in a bar there (hopefully the Well House) before realising what's happened and then think "Mmm - I'll join the Mighty Wind for a couple of songs - Kings of Speed medly with Silver Machine perhaps - before going back with on tour with the Mighty Head. Good idea Lem! Right, where's me 'at!"

Ho-hum....

Lemmy came so close to playing at Hawkfest last year, it was such a shame he got ill....
He was actually going to be our best man at the wedding and was already planning his speech and outfit when he had to cancel.....there would have been a few interesting stories in that speech........shame
Maybe next year......

I remember just after he left HW playing at the Greyhound in Croydon. He was VERY pi33ed came on sang Ace of Spades and something else, got fed up and said "B0llocks". Then just left. A near riot ensued with plastic pints of beer being thrown everywhere.
Oh Happy Days :D

Yep I would like to see him guest as well.

Yes, but it was touch and go....If he had had to travel up to Donington and back on a wet weekend, it wouldn't have done his health any good. He was advised to cancel a few shows in order to preserve his health for the larger ones and the Festival Hall show was important. Lemmy is a professional and would never let anyone down unless he had to.....

Well, hopefully Huw

Looks like Tim Blake - very cool

Any of these would be welcome as far as I'm concerned

Bridget Wishart
Either of the 2 Bass assassins
The Venerable Professor Bainbridge - would love to hear him and Tim Blake together
Agreed - Simon House would be cool
Others that I'm too afraid to utter the names of here!! Oh alright Nik Turner, thats it - it's out in the open!

One day, one day
