However I see that it is "cut from the original masters" so I wonder why debut LP is diff??

I also see it reproduces inners which I do not have but am unsure if I care now

sorry folks, simply "handing information freely" in "boring point blank style single sentence fashion" just "ain't" :) my style unless I respect your own knowledge in a certain way or owe you a favor, etc

But you will always get what I know if I brought something up and if I know anything at all :)

wait a sec

calling silver machine with Lemmy vocals first can go either way and is a matter of how one views the crystal ball.

Kind of like humans escape the terror of aliens with words like demon and angel :) :)

The original take of Silver Machine with Calvert vocal and NOT Lemmy overdubbed appeared on Glastonbury Fayre

Then on a very special compilation CD in a magazine which I still have and refuse not to cherish to this day :)

Ok. But you said they are 'hawkwind plus' to you. So you see them as Hawkwind only under different name.

For you probably this orange wax

many reasons but which colour variation of "electric rock" sticker on german copy are we talking if it has any at all

Again, this question is subject to many variables and is really down to the desires of the beholder

Well, I like first releases on charisma on vinyl. More prefer analog source on vinyl, digital on cd. However, some records doesnt sound good, like some cd's doesnt sound good. Depends.

If old release from 70's are more closer to charisma sound and not cd sound than thats for me. This orange rsd very probobly sounds like cd. So... if someone could say what differences are between those two would be great.

Last thing;

Similar question for 'In Search of space'. There are re-releases:

1. From 1981 Liberty

2. From 1987 Fame/EMI

3. From 2000 EMI

Again I think those first two are probobly from analog source thats why I think are most interesting to me, this from 2000 is new and nice but I am afraid it is from cd source, digital source.

So what to do?

Here is RSD printing fault

further, you are smart man about this stuff BA, and I told Pierre this yesterday when speaking to him

Anyway, the fault of these reissues on all accounts to MY EARS is never source, it is vinyl press quality, and if I wanted a copy for playing I would go:

Liberty 80's pressing, 4 men with Beards press, or the Parlophone without having checked to make sure it is clean press

This is one of the albums like you mentioned that is really probably best on CD, like Sphynx "Xitintoday" due to numerous quiet passages

The printing imperfections don't stop there, but is less issue:

Imagine my shock blessing/curse with these:

I now find myself actually wondering if it might be part of VERY ORIGINAL printers proof artwork and intended to be water reflected

I have never seen another original copy with it other than mine which I had prior to the USA reissue.
(but then it is a HUGE world out there)

The 4 Men With Beards issue also has some white speckle places on front but I managed to repair those on my open copy :)

BTW, the Back On Black issue fine, just altered format.

Also, the 1975 Sunset reissue okay too, just single jacket like the Liberty 80's reissue

(I no longer have either of these but know they sound good)

One more "problem" here with Sunset press is that it got a pirate? reissue a few years ago and I am not sure how this one will be
