Cant say I"ve read many over the years, except perhaps "Hustler", "Over 18" and "Readers Wives", and even that got boring cos all the stories were made up [well, except from the women from Bolton]

I used to have the first couple of hundred issues of 2000AD (including first 3 issues with free gifts still intact), but burned the lot when I left home! Been kicking myself for years.

Also used to read Action comic, with the Hook Jaw story which followed off the back of Jaws. Warlord and Krazy when I was a bit younger, which had some brilliant work by Leo Baxendale.

I used to buy and contribute to a lot of small press comics in the 90's by Slab-O-Concrete and did my own comic called Fevered Imagings, which only ran to a single copy. Also around that time there was Talkin' Turkey (with work by Hunt Emerson) and Electric Soup which were pretty good.

Well I think Stevie K knows he's staying in at play time!

I'd forgoten about Asterix! I had loads of them. In fact I read one at the library the other month whilst waiting for my daughter to chose her library books. It was 'Asterix And The Roman Agents' as I recall.

Fat Freddy's Cat and Wonder Warthog!

I met Gilbert Shelton back in '84 and have still got all the books signed with hand-written cartoons inside. Top Man!

P.s. Dave Brock, DikMik and who?

Fab.Furry.Frk.Bros. was good for a laugh especially The Adventures of Fat Freddy's Cat.
The cockroaches had an army led by a MacArthur like general that smoked a corn cob pipe.

I myself was hopelessly addicted to schlock comics.

CREEPY and EERIE were the best but WEIRD and Tales From The Crypt were good standby's.
Lots of guts and gore.

You got it right Snakes and it was Frank Frazetta's artwork that took the cake.
The comics depicted above were from the mid sixties long before Molly Hatchet's arrival
on the scene.
I only saw Molly H. play live on one occasion and they weren't overly impressive but
Flirtin' With Disaster sure was!

I guess MH tried to copy Skynyrd's sound, but they're not the worst band out there though :)
