I have lost count of how many times I have seen hawkwind but never seen Dave do any acoustic stuff - and let’s face it; the early stuff recorded is inspired! Probably even better after decades of experience!
So it’s probably a long shot but a short acoustic set, maybe as part of a session giving other talented acoustic artists a chance may well go down a dream - also accessible to the younger ones.
I totally agree. I've been saying it for
ages meself. I've heard all about DB's reknowned busking skills but after nearly 30 years as a fan I've never
seen them. I even asked at
Qusetion Time last Hawkfest if he'd brought his harmonica (but he hadn't).
How about a bit of (semi-)acoustic stuff during the
Pschedelic Picnic? I'm sure we could have a whip round and get the poor fella a cuppa tea. Maybe even a biscuit or two.

Not actually in the photo but, depending on the time it was taken, probably not far away - possibly only a coupla feet! I'll have tyo dig out my old 110 photos and compare them.
(I've even managed to pick out my (then) long-flowing locks in the crowd of the 'Henge video. R.I.P. long hair, howdy-doody bald patch!)
