Can any of you 'smart guys' paste the item number for that 'Sea shanties' album a couple pages back.
No need for me to add anything re: inner sleeves. I already had the Texan teacher experience a few years back.
One thing on the 'outers' though; The so called 'Orange Peels' are absolute haters &will eventually crinkle & fray the lp corners with usage.
I think they may sweat with condensation also. ABSOLUTE ROTTERS !

....

the UK & German gatefold on
Liberty is LBS 83264

U.S. Libery is LST-7638

there are a number of lp reissues from 1982 onward, the most recent and best on Sundazed label from 2009 -
LP 5273, barcode 090771527318
( catalog no. on rear sleeve and labels 509992-42413-1-1 )

Actually, i can't say for certain that the Sundazed lp is the 'best' since there is a Japanese vinyl reissue I havent heard !
:-)

Dear VM, I think sir Smuggler was asking for eBay info.
I am not 100%, but I think maybe.

Otherwise I would have leaped to it.
He's British and I'm not.

I placed the caveat as the first indian on Mars because I somehow vibed the Japan reissue would be within your realm, Mike !

I can now safely guess that Japan has the goods :-)

Btw, what year did that get issued ?

If you speak of the now aging Jap CD issue, I think you may have (unfortunately?) seen it here before and that is good question for me.
I will now look on discogs and see if it is now officially obsolete
Can't brag on sound or anything that I know of, just like the artwork style

IF I understand him, and I admit the ratio is highish, it's because I now know him that way, off the forum

cheers

I wasnt sure if all countries have discogs access via internet, and was a chance for me to pay homage to mastering engineer-extraordinaire Bob Irwin.

Thank you both so much ! I'm not familiar with that album.
I will have a look on 'wepay' now.
Ah yes, now I see the HW connection. Think I'll to stick with Bowie for that one.

Sea Shanties is a great album, a very unique and aggressive sound - pirate punk? I have it on vinyl bought way back in the 80s sometime. A reissue I think? I can dig it out and have a look if it's of any help.

Sure Mike :)

I know about this sleeves. Paper outside but inside polyethylene, they are the so called the best BUT I don't like them because of one pure reason. I had problems with them because they are not fit in every sleeve, specialy not in 12" EP 45rpm stuff. So I like only the ones I showed you couple pages back. The outer sleeve what you showed is something what I use, they are very good and accurate dimensions.
